PAUL FEIG SIGNS FIRST-LOOK DEAL WITH THE WARNER BROS. TELEVISION GROUP
Emmy(R)-nominated writer/producer/director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Freaks and Geeks) and his producing partner Laura Fischer have signed a first-look television deal with Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG). This marks Feig's first pact with the Studio.
Under the new agreement, Feig will develop and create original programming in all genres - live-action scripted, unscripted, animation - to be produced through his Feigco Entertainment production company for all platforms, including, potentially, Warner Bros. Discovery's HBO and Max, external streaming services, and the broadcast networks.
Per company policy, terms were not disclosed. WBTVG can confirm it's a multi-year deal.
Paul Feig said: "I've long been a fan of Warner Bros. Television Group because of their very diverse and far-reaching slate of quality TV programming. So, it's an absolute honor for Laura Fischer and me to be joining forces with Clancy, Parul and Adrienne to create new and innovative shows to entertain viewers in a time when we all desperately need some great escapist fare. Long live WBTVG!"
