Netflix Announces Release Date and First Look of Reality Show Yolanthe

The long-awaited reality show Yolanthe will premiere exclusively on Netflix on June 18. Today, the first look is revealed, giving viewers a glimpse into not only the glamorous, but also the personal life of what might be one of the most recognizable faces in the Netherlands - Yolanthe Cabau. This series consists of seven episodes and is produced by NewBe, in collaboration with Netflix.

In Yolanthe, Netflix's first Dutch reality series, we follow Yolanthe Cabau as she builds a new life in Los Angeles with her son Xess Xava, after a turbulent period in the Dutch spotlight. While juggling the daily challenges of being a single mom to the son she had with former footballer Wesley Sneijder, the renovation of a new home, and her acting career, she tries to chase her biggest dreams in the City of Angels.

But the past is never far behind. Old wounds, complex family ties, and unexpected, life-threatening setbacks turn her world upside down. As she's shaping her future, it becomes clear that the past still weighs on her. Will she find happiness in LA, while life's reality keeps throwing her off course?

Yolanthe: "You'll get an honest look into my life. Not just the beautiful moments, but also the daily challenges I face as a mother, actress, entrepreneur, and through my foundation Free a Girl. I've tried to let go of the idea of perfection and instead show what truly matters to me: the love for my child, the support of my friends and family, and the passion that drives both my work and my life. It's a genuine reflection of reality, and I hope it will inspire others along the way."

The series offers an honest and unique glimpse into the extraordinary life of one of the most talked-about women in Dutch showbiz. A journey through Yolanthe's present and past, in a year that will push her resilience to the limit.

Yolanthe will be released on Netflix on June 18, 2025.
