New Warm Dramedy CHAOS Makes Exclusive US Debut Thursday, May 22, 2025 on Viaplay

Sparks fly on and off the air on a sagging morning TV show on the Viaplay Original series Chaos, which makes its exclusive debut in the U.S. on the Viaplay streaming service on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

With the backdrop of a dysfunctional morning show facing dwindling ratings, Chaos follows the chaotic life and modern love story of Lise Jensen, Denmark's morning TV star anchor. Lise faces an unexpected crisis in her career and identity and faces the difficult choice between her predictable, picture-perfect life and the wild allure of an adventurous new man. Comfort or chaos awaits as her world is turned upside down.

When Lise learns her morning show may be canceled, she faces a crossroads in her love and work life. Should she continue with her successful career and marriage with her co-anchor Martin and have the children he so desperately wants? Or follow her own footsteps and risk throwing it away for potential true love, adventure, and the uncertainty it entails with the charming Johannes, who lives a simple life in his van on the Danish coast? Lise must decide if the seemingly perfect life she's cultivated over the past decade is the life she truly wants.

Chaos features an outstanding cast led by Katrine Greis-Rosenthal (A Fortunate Man, A Taste of Hunger) as news show co-anchor Lise Jensen, Hadi Ka-Koush (The Bridge, Follow the Money) as husband and co-anchor Martin, Jacob Lohmann (The Promised Land, Darkness: Those Who Kill) as Johannes, and Amanda Collin (Raised by Wolves, A Horrible Woman) as Viktoria.

Based on an idea by Johanna Runevad (All and Eva) with lead writing by Emma Broström (STHLM Blackout, Limbo), Chaos (Kaos) is produced by Claudia Siesbye Halsted (Hooligan, Backstage) for Drive Studios. The series is directed by Lars Kaalund (Rita, The One and Only).
