CBS Wins First Five Thursdays of the Season in Viewers and Demos for the First Time Since 2005

CBS won its fifth consecutive Thursday in viewers and key demographics as CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION delivered its best viewer delivery since last April and highest adult 18-49 rating since its season premiere while THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program in adults 18-49 for the first time this season, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Oct. 21

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (7.8/13), viewers (12.94m), adults 25-54 (5.3/15), adults 18-49 (4.0/13) and adults 18-34 (2.6/09) at 8:00 PM. Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY added +370,000 viewers (from 12.57m, +3%). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's #1 program adults 18-49 for the first time this season.

$#*! MY DAD SAYS was first in households (6.7/11), viewers (10.91m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09) at 8:30 PM. Compared to last week, $#*! MY DAD SAYS was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.2/11) and added +750,000 viewers (from 10.16m, +7%).

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (8.9/14), viewers (14.73m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09). Compared to last week, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.4/11), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +280,000 viewers (from 14.45m, +2%). CSI posted its largest audience since April 8, 2010, and best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings since the season premiere on Sept. 23. CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was Thursday's #1 program in viewers.

THE MENTALIST was first in households (8.9/15), viewers (14.22m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and second in adults 18-49 (2.9/08, behind baseball on FOX).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.3/14), viewers (13.63m), adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). CBS won the first five Thursdays of the season in these measures for the first time since 2005.
