Food Network's January Is Highest-Rated, Most-Watched Month In Network History

7th in Cable Prime; Up 40% from January 2011

'Rachael vs. Guy' Cooks Up Top Ratings

NEW YORK - February 1, 2012 - Food Network kicks-off a new year of record breaking as January becomes the highest-rated, most-watched month* in network history, delivering a 40% gain in ratings (.7 adults 25-54) and a 21% gain in impressions (688k adults 25-54) over January 2011. The first month of 2012 held a network average of 1.4 million P2+ viewers, a gain of 25% from last year. Food Network also ranked 7th in cable prime ratings among ad-supported networks, according to Nielsen Media Research.

New break-out hit Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off featuring two of the network's iconic stars, premiered as the #1 show in its timeslot among ad-supported cable networks (#2 for the night) on New Year's Day and has since averaged a 1.3 rating and 1.3 million impressions among adults 25-54 over its five-week run. Rachael vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off is produced by Jane Street Entertainment.
