CBS WINS IN VIEWERS FOR THE EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE WEEK AND ADULTS 25-54 FOR THE SIXTH STRAIGHT WEEK

Network has the Top Seven Scripted Broadcasts With a Mix of First-Run and Encores

Rebroadcast of "The Big Bang Theory" Beats "American Idol" in Viewers for the First Time and Tops it in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 for the Second Consecutive Week.

In a week of primarily rebroadcasts and breaking news, CBS placed first in viewers for the eighth consecutive week, adults 25-54 for the sixth straight week and was a solid second in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for the week ending April 21, Week 30 of the 2012-2013 television season.

Among adults 18-49, CBS had the top seven scripted broadcasts of the week: THE BIG BANG THEORY 9:00 PM SPECIAL (R) (S), THE BIG BANG THEORY (R), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, 2 BROKE GIRLS, TWO AND A MEN (R), 2 BROKE GIRLS 9:30 PM SPECIAL (R) (S), MIKE & MOLLY and NCIS 9:00 PM SPECIAL (R) (S).

A rebroadcast of THE BIG BANG THEORY beat "American Idol" in key demos in the common half-hour for the second straight week and topped "Idol" in viewers for the first time ever.

SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES posted season highs in viewers and adults 25-54 and matched its season high in adults 18-49 - finishing in the top 10 in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. THE AMAZING RACE 2 was a top 10 performer in adults 18-49 and in the top 15 in both viewers and adults 25-54.

The NCIS 9:00 PM SPECIAL (R) (S) and THE BIG BANG THEORY's two Thursday rebroadcasts beat all scripted programs on the competition.

Season-to-date, CBS maintains its lead in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

For the week in viewers: CBS (8.26m), ABC (6.62m), NBC (5.61m) and FOX (5.56m). Season-to-date: CBS (12.07m) beats ABC (7.84m), FOX (7.08m) and NBC (7.04m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (2.5/06) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.8/05, with NBC, -0.1 behind FOX). CBS was first in adults 25-54 for the sixth consecutive week. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08). Season-to-date, CBS is up +2% in viewers and even in adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (5.3/09), ABC (4.3/07), NBC (3.5/06) and FOX (3.4/06). Season-to-date: CBS (7.5/12), ABC (5.0/08), NBC (4.4/07) and FOX (4.3/07).

SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES was second in households (6.1/10), viewers (9.99m), adults 25-54 (3.9/10) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08). SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES posted season highs in both viewers and adults 25-54 and matched the season's best households and adults 18-49 deliveries. SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN - FANS vs. FAVORITES finished in its closest competitive position this season with "American Idol" in their common hour in both viewers (-1.98m, falling below 2 million viewers for the first time) and adults 18-49 (-0.4) and matched its closest competitive position with adults 25-54 (-0.4).

THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) (8:00-8:31 PM) was first in viewers (11.43m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and adults 18-49 (3.1/10), tied for first in adults 18-34 (1.9/08, with FOX) and was second in households (7.1/12, -0.1 behind FOX). THE BIG BANG THEORY rebroadcast beat "American Idol" in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week and beat "Idol" in viewers with a rebroadcast for the first time ever.

60 MINUTES was first in households (7.5/13), viewers (11.81m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (1.9/06). 60 MINUTES was Sunday's #1 primetime program in households and viewers.

THE AMAZING RACE 22 was first in households (5.4/09), viewers (9.16m), adults 25-54 (3.3/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). Compared to last week, THE AMAZING RACE 22 was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/06) and even in adults 25-54. THE AMAZING RACE 22 was the night's #1 primetime program in adults 25-54.

THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (6.0/09) and viewers (9.02m) and tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.2/05, with NBC).

THE MENTALIST was first in households (6.0/10), viewers (9.10m) and adults 25-54 (2.3/05) and tied for first with NBC in adults 18-49 (1.6/04). Compared to last week, THE MENTALIST was up +13% in households (from 5.3/11), +10% in adults 25-54 (from 2.1/06), +14% in adults 18-49 (from 1.4/05) and added +1.26m viewers (from 7.84m, +16%).
