On Friday, "Undateable" Equals Its High 18-49 Rating Since Oct. 16

ON FRIDAY, "UNDATEABLE" EQUALS ITS HIGH 18-49 RATING SINCE OCT. 16 AND "DATELINE" MATCHES ITS FRIDAY HIGH SINCE LAST MARCH

Friday Primetime Results:

"Undateable" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):

· Matched its highest 18-49 rating since Oct. 16 (0.9).

· Will increase with time-shifted and alternate-platform viewing -- the previous week's "Undateable" grew by +29% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (0.84 to 1.08) and 467,000 persons in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 3.6 million), for the show's biggest L+3 18-49 lift of the season (+0.24), which boosted the show to a tie for its season-high L+3 rating (1.08).

An encore telecast of "Superstore" (0.6/2, 2.2 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):

· Retained 100% of the previous week's rating in adults 18-49 in this time period.

"Dateline NBC" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall):

· Equaled its season high in 18-49 and matched its highest Friday 18-49 rating since March 20, 2015 (1.3)

· In the key news demo of adults 25-54, set a new season high (1.7).

· Grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by +30% in adults 18-49 (1.0 to 1.3), +27% in adults 25-54 (1.5 to 1.9) and +20% in total viewers (4.8 million to 5.7 million).

· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, tied for #1 in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS and NBC.

· Outrated ABC's "20/20" head-to-head from 10-11 p.m. in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; and total viewers.

· Will grow with time-shifted viewing and VOD -- the prior week's "Dateline" increased by +26% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.16 to 1.46) and by more than 1.0 million persons in total viewers (5.6 million vs. 6.7 million), to generate "Dateline's" highest L+3 rating in 18-49 (1.46) since Sept. 18 (also a 1.46).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers were the #1-2 late-night shows in 18-49 in the 25 Nielsen markets with local people meters.

· In adult 18-49 rating in the local people meters, Fallon (1.1) topped the combined results of CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.4) and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" rebroadcast (0.5).

· In 18-49 in the local people meters, Meyers' encore (0.5) beat Colbert (0.4) and tied Kimmel's rebroadcast (0.5), despite Meyers' later start time.

· In 18-49, Carson Daly's encore (0.3) beat Corden's rebroadcast (0.2), despite starting an hour later, and tied "Nightline" (0.3), despite starting 90 minutes later.

· Fallon's guests Friday night included Ray Romano, Lucy Hale and musical guest Brandi Carlile.

· Meyers' guests Friday included Christian Slater, Retta and musical guest Sam Hunt (encore).

· Daly's guests Friday night included Amy Landecker, Wild Child and musical guest Miami Horror (encore).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
