NEW YORK, NY, July 17, 2006 -- COMEDY CENTRAL rides in the fast lane in "Reel Comedy: Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby." This half-hour special premieres on Tuesday, August 1 at 7:00 p.m.

COMEDY CENTRAL�s "Reel Comedy: Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby� is hosted by comedian Paul F. Tompkins, who visits the set of �Talladega Nights� to chat with the film�s stars, including Will Ferrell, Sascha Baron Cohen, John C. Reilly, Leslie Bibb, Michael Clark Duncan and David Koechner. Will and the cast take Tompkins on a rollicking tour of the Nascar raceway in Charlotte, North Carolina and give him tips on professional racing and talk about their upcoming movie. Sony�s �Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby� opens in theaters on August 4.

Encore presentations air Wednesday, August 2 at 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3 at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. and Friday, August 4 at 5:00 p.m.

"Reel Comedy" is COMEDY CENTRAL�s series of specials that provide a unique, in-depth look at the hottest new comedic films.
