'Crash & Burn' to Premiere in HD Under the 'Spike Guy Movies' Umbrella

NEW YORK, March 12 -- Erik Palladino ("Over There," "ER"), David Moscow ("Riding in Cars with Boys") and Michael Madsen ("Reservoir Dogs") star in the Spike original movie, "Crash & Burn," premiering on Sunday, March 30 from 10 p.m. - 12 midnight (ET/PT) on Spike TV. "Crash & Burn" premieres in HD and is slated under the "Spike Guy Movies" umbrella that will air throughout 2008. Spike TV's original "Spike Guy Movies" average nearly 1.5 million viewers each month.

"Crash & Burn" is an adrenaline-pumping action film about an ex-con working undercover for the FBI to expose a car theft ring. Kevin (Palladino), a former professional car thief, is caught red-handed by the FBI and offered a deal: bring down the car theft ring and become a free man. Upon resurfacing, Kevin easily slips back into his old patterns of boosting cars with his best friend, Hill (Moscow). Hill, unaware of Kevin's new role, immediately brings him in on a deal he made with Vincent (Madsen), a dangerous crime boss who offers a big payday upon delivery of dozens of rare stolen cars. However, these cars are within the territory of the MS-13, a ruthless gang willing to kill anyone who gets in the way of their profits. Kevin must struggle to keep his FBI contacts happy, stay under MS-13 radar and earn the trust of an already suspicious Vincent, all while bypassing high levels of security to lift the rarest and most expensive cars in the city.

"We are very excited to present this pulse-pounding story to our viewers," said Bill McGoldrick, vice president of development, Spike TV. "With hot cars, suspenseful action and talented performances by a well-rounded cast, this movie really delivers."

RHI Entertainment presents an Alpine Medien Production in association with Larry Levinson Productions and produced in association with Grand Army Entertainment, LLC. "Crash & Burn" is directed by Russell Mulcahy, written by Frank Hannah and Jack Logiudice and produced by Randy Pope and Lincoln Lageson. Robert Halmi, Jr. and Larry Levinson serve as executive producers.

Spike TV is available in 96.1 million homes and is a division of MTV Networks. A unit of Viacom (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), MTV Networks is one of the world's leading creators of programming and content across all media platforms.
