Finalist Amanda Overmyer was eliminated tonight from the AMERICAN IDOL competition after she received the fewest votes. On Tuesday's performance show, Overmyer, 23, from Mulberry, IN, sang "Back in the U.S.S.R."

Ryan Seacrest also announced that music superstars Mariah Carey, Dolly Parton, Neil Diamond and Andrew Lloyd Webber will be mentors this season.

On Tuesday, March 25 (8:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 10 finalists (Brooke White, Carly Smithson, Chikezie, David Archuleta, David Cook, Jason Castro, Kristy Lee Cook, Michael Johns, Ramiele Malubay and Syesha Mercado) will return to the Idol stage and perform songs from the year they were born.

Tune in the following night to see who receives enough votes to stay in the competition and who must go home on the live results show Wednesday, March 26 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. In addition, Season Two finalist Kimberley Locke will perform her new single "Fall."

Locke quickly rose to fame after becoming the second runner-up on Season Two of AMERICAN IDOL. After performing on the IDOL tour, she released her Curb Records debut album "One Love," which features the No. 1 Billboard Single Sales hit "8th World Wonder." Locke has scored seven Top 10 Adult Contemporary hits in almost four years more than any artist in that time span. Remixes of her songs "Change" and "Band of Gold" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Club charts, marking seven times for Locke atop a Billboard chart. Her current album, "Based on a True Story," includes those hits plus her latest single, "Fall."

Locke has lent her time and talents to various charities including the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, YouthAIDS, Camp Heartland, the Human Rights Campaign, Help Is On The Way (AIDS), GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), Leezas Place (Alzheimers) and What A Pair/Revlon/UCLA (Breast Cancer).
