E!/STYLE AT THE TCA - E! has booked "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" for a return date of Sunday, March 8 at 10:00/9:00c. The show's third season will lead into newcomer "Candy Girls" at 10:30/9:30c. The eight-episode series follows the owner of a music talent agency and her two underlings as they fulfill the background dancer needs of such acts as Kanye West, Outkast, Jay-Z and Three 6 Mafia. Meanwhile over on sister channel Style, freshman hit "Ruby" is on track for a second season while network mainstay Finola Hughes ("How Do I Look?") has inked a first-look deal with the cable channel. Already in the works is "Cool Girl Hate Club," a new docusoap which follows a group of Indiana University grads as they move to New York City. A pilot is set to be shot later this month. And finally, the Hughes-produced "Running in Heels," about the lives of the staffers at Marie Claire, will roll out on Sunday, March 1 at 8:00/7:00c.
HBO THE TCA - The pay channel has detailed its spring plans, which include the return of "In Treatment" and the premiere of "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency." Also on tap: the Will Ferrell/Adam McKay special "You're Welcome America: A Final Night With George W. Bush" on Saturday, March 14. As for "Treatment," the show's second season will still air five installments per week, however only on Sundays (two episodes) and Mondays (three episodes) at 9:00/8:00c staring April 5. The series will be joined by Alexander McCall Smith's "Agency" on Sunday, March 29. The pair will take over for the winter trio of "Big Love," "Flight of the Conchords" and "Eastbound and Down," all of which wrap their seasons on Sunday, March 22.
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (CBS) - Co-stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan have each inked new deals with producer 20th Century Fox Television. The pacts, which are retroactive to the beginning of this season, will bring their respective salaries to the 90,000-$120,000 per episode range, between two and three times their current paydays. Said deals also put an extra year on top of their original seven-year contracts. The news comes within months of the studio selling "Mother's" off-network rights to Lifetime and stations across the country for $2.5-$3 million per episode in its first cycle.
