MANEATER (Lifetime) - Judy Greer ("Miss/Guided"), Philip Winchester ("Crusoe"), Gregory Harrison ("Joey") and Maria Conchita Alonso ("Saints & Sinners") have all been cast in the Sarah Chalke-led mini-series, about Clarissa Alpert (Chalke), a shallow thirtysomething socialite in a panic because she's still single. Harrison and Conchita Alonso will play Clarissa's parents, the philandering Teddy and fiery Alejandra, with Greer as "the daughter of a plastic surgeon who is in a dead-end relationship with a married man" and Winchester as Clarissa's love interest Aaron, "a wealthy and handsome single guy about to produce his first movie." Timothy Busfield is directing the Sony Pictures Television-based project, which was penned by Suzanne Martin based on Gigi Levangie Grazer's book of the same name. Martin and Levangie Grazer are executive producing alongside Stephanie Davis.
NANNY 911 (FOX) - CMT has commissioned eight original episodes of the one-time FOX mainstay, which will feature several nannies who starred in earlier episodes. The cable channel has been carrying the show's off-network run since March with solid numbers presumably informing the decision to go ahead with first-run installments. No start date was given for the new season.
