Several Nominees' Moment of Surprise Captured in Fun "#Oh My ARDY" Shorts to be presented beginning Friday, March 4 on Disney Channel

Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, DNCE, Shawn Mendes and One Direction are among the top nominees for the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA). Fans all around the world are invited to vote for their favorite artists in categories including "The Bestest - Song of the Year," "The Buzz - Breakout Artist of the Year" and "That's My Jam - Best Anthem." Last year over 101 million votes were tallied on the Radio Disney app and social platforms, including more than five million votes from international fans.

The moment of surprise for recording artists Meghan Trainor, Fall Out Boy, DNCE, Alessia Cara, Kelsea Ballerini and Daya, as each first learns of their RDMA nomination, will be seen in fun shorts as part of "#Oh My ARDY" weekend beginning FRIDAY, MARCH 4 on Disney Channel, the Radio Disney app, RadioDisney.com, the Disney Channel App and DisneyChannel.com.

Voting is open now through Sunday, April 10 at Disney.com/RDMA, the Radio Disney app, Google OneBox and via Radio Disney's Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Winners will be announced at the 2016 RDMA on SATURDAY, APRIL 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with a two-hour television special "Disney Channel Presents the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards" originating from the event to be presented SUNDAY, MAY 1 (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on Disney Channel.

Tickets for the RDMA will be on sale Friday, March 11 at AXS.com/RDMA.

The 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards, music's biggest event for families, is set for Saturday, April 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show will feature performances by some of the biggest artists along with tomorrow's rising stars in music and the presentation of the uniquely Radio Disney "ARDY" statuette winners, as voted on by fans globally. The special two-hour telecast, "Disney Channel Presents the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards," will be presented Sunday, May 1 (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on Disney Channel in the U.S. and thereafter, in 159 countries.
