'Kimmel' Is Up Over Last Season by 8% in Total Viewers

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" (Monday-Friday, 11:35 p.m.)

During the week of Jan. 16, 2023, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" ranked as the No. 1 late-night talk show among Adults 18-49 (307,000), beating NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" by 21% (253,000) and CBS' "The Late Show Starring Stephen Colbert" by 27% (241,000). In fact, "Kimmel" posted its largest advantage over "The Tonight Show" so far this season in Adults 18-49 (+21%).

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" shot up over the prior week by 23% in Total Viewers (1.746 million vs. 1.419 million) and by 48% in Adults 18-49 (307,000 vs. 207,000) to score its strongest week since June - since the weeks of 6/6/22 and 6/13/22, respectively.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" improved over the same week last year (w/o 1/17/22) in both Total Viewers (+15% - 1.746 million vs. 1.519 million) and Adults 18-49 (+3% - 307,000 vs. 299,000).

The Monday broadcast of "Kimmel" (on 1/16/23) was the No. 1 late-night telecast of the week among Adults 18-49 (584,000). In fact, Monday's "Kimmel" ranked among the Top 3 telecasts for any late-night talk show this season in Adults 18-49 (No. 3). Monday's episode featured guests Danny DeVito, Lucy DeVito and Travis Bennett, and musical guest bbno$.

On average for the 2022-2023 season, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is up over the comparable weeks last season by 8% in Total Viewers (1.614 million vs. 1.498 million).

ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" will celebrate 20 years on Thursday, Jan. 26, and will air a special primetime anniversary episode that evening at 10 p.m. The episode will re-air in the show's regular 11:35 p.m. timeslot later that night.
