CBS's New Fall Comedy "The Class" and "How I Met Your Mother" Exchanging Monday Time Periods

CBS'S NEW FALL COMEDY "THE CLASS" AND "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER" EXCHANGING MONDAY TIME PERIODS

"The Class" Moving to 8:00 PM

"How I Met Your Mother" Retains Its 8:30 PM Time Period

CBS is flipping its previously announced Monday time periods for the freshman comedy THE CLASS and sophomore comedy HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

THE CLASS will now lead off CBS's Monday comedy block (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) while HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER will return for its second season in its current Monday (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) time period.

THE CLASS, about the lives of a group of 20-somethings who are inextricably bound together having shared the same third grade class, stars Jason Ritter ("Joan of Arcadia"), Heather Goldenhersh ("The Merchant of Venice"), Lizzy Caplan ("Related"), Jon Bernthal ("Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman"), Sean Maguire ("Eve"), Jesse Tyler Ferguson ("Putnam County Spelling Bee"), Lucy Punch ("Ella Enchanted") and Andrea Anders ("Joey").

Emmy Award winner David Crane ("Friends"), Emmy Award nominee Jeffrey Klarik ("Mad About You") and multiple Emmy Award winner James Burrows ("Will & Grace," "Frasier") are executive producers for Warner Bros. Television.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segal, Alyson Hannigan, Neil Patrick Harris and Cobie Smulders. Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Greg Malins and Pamela Fryman are executive producers for Twentieth Century Fox Television.
